Pedro Jose Rojas was born in Cuba in 1970, since he was young he developed a great passion for painting, which lead to him to start drawing. At age 15, he started focusing on landscapes and throughout the years his landscapes became famous for their realistic level. Pedro is a self-taught artist that creates artwork that many consider to "surpass the photography" by the detail found in both the close ups and the horizon of the landscape. He has exposed in prestigious galleries in Cuba. Including, La Acacia and Amelia Pelaez Galleria. He has participated in the highest National Art exposition, winning numberous awards and prizes. Many of his artworks are found in public and private collection are in France, Italy, Kuwait, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, United States. Among others, some of them have been auctioned in differen countries. The paintings have obtained great acceptanc and admiration.

 

Today, Pedro resides in Dallas, TX and plans to continue and expand his painting career with personal showings and gallery exhibitions.
